A good sticker needs three things: the subject cut out from its background, a white outline around it, and a PNG file with a transparent background. You can do all three in your browser without uploading the photo to any server. This guide walks you through the 94 Tools sticker maker.
Choose the right photo
A clear subject that stands apart from the background: a person, pet, object or dish.
A sharp, well-lit photo where the subject’s colors differ from the background.
Flyaway hair, transparent objects such as glasses, and busy backgrounds can leave rough edges or lose detail.
JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC photos from iPhone are supported.
Make your sticker step by step
Open the sticker maker and click the upload area or drop a photo onto it. The editor opens with your photo. Inside the editor, you can also use Upload image in the bottom toolbar.
Click the photo to select it and the properties panel appears. Open More actions and choose Remove background. The first time, your browser downloads a processing model of about 46 MB; later runs are faster.
In Style, click Add outline for the classic white sticker border. Change the outline color, set its thickness with the Outline slider, turn on a shadow, use Crop image, or add a shiny Holo effect.
To add words, pick the Text tool in the bottom toolbar, then adjust font size, color and text outline.
Download: Save PNG under More actions saves only the selected sticker; Download canvas in the top bar exports the whole layout.
Transparent PNGs for chats and printing
After removing the background, Save PNG creates a file with a transparent background that looks clean on any photo or document.
Downloading the whole canvas includes the paper background. For transparency, set the canvas background to Transparent first.
Messaging apps have their own size and format rules for sticker packs. Check your app’s guidelines before building a pack.
For printed decals, start from a high-resolution original so the sticker stays sharp when enlarged.
Fix common problems
Rough edges: try a sharper photo, a plainer background, or crop close to the subject before removing the background.
Part of the subject disappeared: click Restore background to get the original back, then try another photo.
Slow processing: close other tabs. Newer computers and phones are faster.
Privacy: photos are processed on your device and never sent to a background-removal API. On a shared computer, clear the site data when you are done.
